St. Andrew Methodist Church envisioned a multi-purpose worship center that could support both traditional services — with choirs, orchestras, and liturgical readings — and contemporary services featuring a full band, dynamic visuals, and broadcast streaming, all without changing the core aesthetics of the rooms original design. Their desire to have traditional and contemporary services in the same venue, helped pioneer a workflow that has become more mainstream. St. Andrews use of technology to help make this dream a reality has been something we're proud to have been a part of.
Clear ProAV was selected to help implement systems that would make one venue a place where two very different worship styles could coexist seamlessly, powered by technology that adapts without compromise.
The project features three Absen LED walls, two IMAG screens with custom boarders, and a large center screen stretching nearly 40' wide x 22' tall. An entirely new broadcast control room, a manned Hitachi camera utilizing SMPTE fiber connectivity, multiple Panasonic broadcast-grade PTZ cameras, environmental projection with four Christie large-format laser projectors, multiple advanced media servers by Coolux utilizing Pandora's box media engines, custom fabricated LED wall carts and lifting tools to aide the church in the setup and teardown of the large center screen inbetween services.
