First United Methodist Church Richardson partnered with Clear ProAV to reimagine the visual experience in their Sanctuary by upgrading their outdated large-format projection screens. The previous system had become dim over time, making it difficult for congregants to read displayed content—particularly during daytime services when natural light from the stained glass windows created glare and uneven brightness across the screens.
To address these challenges, we installed two Absen 2.5mm LED video walls, each custom-finished with handcrafted wood borders to seamlessly complement the church’s architectural design. The LED walls deliver vibrant, high-contrast visuals that remain clear and legible in all lighting conditions.
The displays are powered by HD-SDI transmitters running over single-mode fiber, utilizing Extron infrastructure to ensure reliable, high-quality signal transmission throughout the Sanctuary.
Recently, multiple Yamaha DM-7 digital mixing consoles have been implemented in multiple venues on campus further enhancing the audio capabilities of the church.
