Clear ProAV Redefines Broadcast Experience for Northplace Church’s Expanding Ministry
As Northplace Church continued expanding its multi-campus ministry and growing its live-streaming reach, the leadership team partnered with Clear ProAV to reimagine their broadcast video infrastructure and production workflow.
The existing system—built around aging IMAG projectors and legacy camera and switching equipment—had reached its limits, with no room for future growth. Rather than offering a basic camera upgrade, we proposed a more forward-thinking solution: bringing a cinematic quality to both the in-person and online worship experience.
In collaboration with Panasonic Pro Video and Fujinon, we conducted on-site demonstrations of the Panasonic Varicam system—a powerful creative broadcast camera capable of dynamically adjusting its internal frame rate while maintaining a consistent output. This flexibility enables the team to shoot worship segments in 24fps for a cinematic, immersive feel, and then seamlessly switch to 30 or 60fps for the sermon to align with traditional broadcast standards. All frame rate changes are controlled remotely from an RCP in the control room—no additional operator workload required.
To support this enhanced workflow, Clear ProAV designed and integrated a 4K-capable video infrastructure that includes:
To further elevate the broadcast audio quality, we integrated advanced processing into the signal chain—allowing the Front of House team to deliver consistent, professional-grade mixes for streaming. Equipment highlights include:
This next-generation broadcast system empowers Northplace Church to deliver high-impact, high-quality worship experiences—both in the room and around the world.
