When Globe Life set out to build a next-generation conference center at its McKinney, Texas headquarters, the vision was clear: create a dynamic, state-of-the-art environment that could bring people together in person while seamlessly connecting with audiences around the world. To turn this vision into reality, Globe Life partnered with Clear ProAV to design and deliver a fully integrated audio, video, lighting (AVL), and broadcast system that would serve as the technological backbone of the new space.
Now known as The Venue, this innovative facility functions as a central hub for live events, interactive training, and global communication. It empowers Globe Life to engage employees and agents across the country — and beyond — with a consistent, high-quality experience, whether they’re in the room or joining remotely. But the project required far more than a traditional conference room setup. The system needed to support live, interactive presentations, deliver broadcast-quality streams to thousands of remote participants, integrate presenters joining via Zoom, and offer unwavering reliability for mission-critical communications. The solution also had to be intuitive enough for internal teams to operate with ease, and flexible enough to scale with the company’s evolving needs.
To meet these demands, we developed a comprehensive, turnkey solution centered on simplicity, performance, and scalability. For audio, the team installed Martin Audio CDD Series loudspeakers for premium sound clarity and coverage, alongside an Allen & Heath SQ5 digital mixing console for versatile control. Sennheiser EW-DX Dante wireless microphones provided reliable voice capture, while a QSC Q-SYS Core 110f handled centralized digital signal processing and system control. On the visual front, a 38-foot Absen NX1.8 LED wall transformed presentations into immersive, high-impact experiences. Chauvet Professional theatrical lighting was installed to elevate the atmosphere for both in-person attendees and remote viewers, while Panasonic UE160 PTZ cameras delivered crisp, broadcast-quality video from every angle. Behind the scenes, a Ross Video Carbonite & TouchDrive system enabled advanced video routing alongside an Extron control system which brought all components together through an intuitive interface, allowing staff and presenters to operate the technology effortlessly.
The results speak for themselves. With The Venue now fully operational, Globe Life has a powerful new platform for training, outreach, and internal communication. In-person attendees benefit from dynamic sound and visuals, while remote audiences enjoy studio-quality live streams and real-time interactivity. The technology enhances the message rather than distracting from it — working quietly in the background to create a seamless experience. For Globe Life, this means deeper engagement, stronger communication, and a future-proof space that will continue to support its mission for years to come.
The Venue at Globe Life isn’t just a conference center — it’s a modern communications hub, thoughtfully designed and expertly delivered by Clear ProAV.
